Orbital is running a 1-hour seminar during ABTT entitled
Click Tracks, Sound Effects, and Control: What are the big shows doing?.
Presented by Richard Carter, the session will look at how the big shows out on the road are dealing with everyday issues against a background of fast technological changes. The seminar will look at Soundscape design, Click Track playback and Control systems, using a current major UK tour to illustrate how the systems need to be simple, reliable, yet powerful to achieve the designer's and director's vision. Richard will be using the advanced CSC Show Control system to illustrate the seminar with practical examples, illustrating how it can tie together all aspects of live sound control to enable extremely complex performances.
