This is the 20th year that Orbital has been involved with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe – this year supporting over 30 venues in total with a huge cross-section of high-end audio equipment, including d&b audiotechnik loudspeaker systems, plus Yamaha CL5 and LS9 mixing consoles.
Highlights this year included setting up a special online hire service initiative for the Gilded Balloon performers –
Gilded Balloon easiHire was a great success, ensuring fast access to top quality equipment to complement the venues' installed systems.
With just 6 days to load in and prepare everything before the Festival opening, the whole operation requires meticulous planning from start to finish, with Orbital's David Bartholomeusz responsible for project management.
