Sound installation and rental company Hiykon has augmented its impressive stock of d&b audiotechnik loudspeakers, investing in its first V-Series system. The latest additions to Hiykon's inventory are sixteen V12s and eight V-Subs, soon to be installed in the Dome for this year's Brighton Festival.

Established in its current format for nearly 20 years by its current shareholders, Hiykon is run day to day by Hire Director, Ben Lawrance. The company is passionate about sound quality and now has over 100 d&b audiotechnik units. As a preferred sound supplier for The Dome in Brighton, Hiykon has provided the sound systems for many of the Brighton Festival venues for the past five years.

Ben explains:
"This year's Festival will be an all d&b affair, with the V-Series complementing our existing Q-Series perfectly to handle the variety of performances in the venues. We are also handling the Dome venue for the Great Escape Festival – Europe's leading new music festival – bang in the middle of this, so will be going pretty much flat out!

"Our focus is very much on quality rather than price, and that is what our reputation is based on. Partnerships, such as the one we have with Orbital, form an essential part of what we do – it is about much more than a supplier relationship.

"We have worked with Orbital for years now, relying on them to supply sound equipment as we grow our inventory, and getting great support as well.
