Iconic musical West Side Story takes to the UK roads
Featuring the d&b T-Series loudspeaker system
Liverpool is the opening venue for Joey McKneely's vibrant new UK touring production of West Side Story, kicking off this September after rave reviews at Sadlers Wells in London. Formerly Jerome Robbins' assistant, McKneely has used the full original choreography to recreate the true essence of the original production. Sound design is by Rick Clarke, deploying a sizeable d&b audiotechnik T-Series line array system alongside the Yamaha PM1-D mixing console.

Jersey Boys take on Holland!
Steve Kennedy's sound design revolves around a Meyer MICA sound system
Holland is the latest country to stage the hit musical Jersey Boys, featuring the music and story of Franki Valli and The Four Seasons. With sound design by Steve Canyon Kennedy, Orbital Sound was selected to provide the sound equipment for the Dutch production.

The system deploys the Meyer Sound MICA compact high-powered curvilinear array speaker, supported by d&b audiotechnik E0 compact speakers.

2nd Mixing Musicals course was mega!
  The 2-day training course was fully booked in August, with students drawn from a real cross-section of backgrounds, including established rock'n'roll freelancers and apprentices.
