Commenting for Flare Audio, MD Kristin Hanson said:

"Our two companies have complementary backgrounds – live touring, entertainment installations, studios and events – making for an extremely powerful combination. At Flare Audio, we are introducing what is essentially a new approach to sound reinforcement, making the choice of our first major distributor absolutely key. We were looking for a company that would embrace new ideas and relish the prospect of bringing real innovation to the marketplace, while always putting the customer first. Orbital Sound has an outstanding reputation on all counts, and represents the ideal match for us."

Orbital Sound will be focusing on introducing Flare Audio's innovative product range to a broad audience in the coming months.

Sales Director, Tom Byrne explains:

"Flare Audio's innovative R&D approach has created a range that delivers high definition audio with exceptional vocal clarity. This is combined with an extremely accurate sonic footprint that is present in every Flare Audio design – from the studio monitors to largescale stadium line arrays. This unique blend is something that excites us from a distribution perspective. We are delighted to be representing Flare Audio, and will working initially on establishing a network of nationwide partner dealers that match our standards for sales, installation, service and support excellence. We have a broad canvas to work on – with products that deliver outstanding performance whatever the application, across the live entertainment market, commercial venues, AV, houses of worship, studios, festivals and touring. We will also be putting in place the very best of training and application support, combined with building market awareness.

Our two companies have very similar mindsets and a dedication to technical excellence – we are looking forward to a successful partnership."

About Flare Audio:

Flare Audio founder Davies Roberts has created a new generation of loudspeaker designs based on the theory of Waveform Integrity, which states that the loudspeaker should be sonically invisible, neither adding nor detracting from the clarity of sound produced by the driver. The result is patent-pending NanoflowTM driver alignment, SpaceTM enclosure structure, and VortexTM exhaust technology. These technologies combine to produce high definition audio with unsurpassed vocal clarity in compact enclosures from live music arenas to personal studios.

Flare Audio's SB18C won an Innovation Award at the 2013 PLASA, on the basis of its "truly innovative approach to an age-old problem. It takes the concept of reducing materials to a whole new level and the technologies that have been adopted offer exciting possibilities." The X5A was also singled out for a special commendation, sharing the same innovative concept as the award-winning Flare Audio SB18C.
