Flare Audio has revisited bass enclosure design and created something significantly different: enclosures that are less than half the size of sealed designs, produce high definition natural sound, while retaining throw. The SB range allows linear driver movement that generates accurate sound over all frequencies, without false low frequency enhancement. It is designed to save space and transport costs across all applications, from installations to worldwide tours.
The SB range of bass enclosures benefits from the attributes of both a sealed and ported design that eliminates pressure and port interference. It does not use any internal dampening or artificial enhancement; and it requires no enclosure tuning or electronic correction. With the applied technologies of Space and Vortex , the SB enclosure size is minimised and becomes sonically invisible, producing a true infinite baffle.
Flare Audioês design approach makes a practical reality of the infinite baffle concept - a loudspeaker driver mounted on an infinitely large panel, with nothing behind it but an infinitely large space long considered an impossible goal of loudspeaker design.
