The Solidcom H1 is designed as a modular communication platform. Users operate with lightweight wireless beltpacks paired with professional headsets, allowing for comfortable long-term use and flexible headset options depending on the working environment. The system can operate in standalone mode using ANT01 antenna units, supporting up to 20 beltpack users on a single node without the need for a central station. For larger productions, multiple antenna units can be linked together to support up to 30 beltpacks, creating a seamless wireless coverage area across stages, venues, or production sites. For even larger deployments, the system can be expanded using the Geo Central Station, supporting up to 80 wireless beltpacks and extensive communication group management.
Operating on the professional 1.9 GHz DECT wireless band, the Solidcom H1 delivers stable full-duplex communication with minimal interference in demanding RF environments. Each antenna unit provides coverage of up to 500 metres line-of-sight, ensuring reliable communication across large venues, stadiums, broadcast compounds, and outdoor productions. Multiple antenna units can be deployed to create a roaming wireless network, allowing users to move freely across large coverage areas while remaining connected.
The Solidcom H1 beltpack is designed for mobility and comfort during long production days. Weighing under 305 grams including the battery, it can be easily clipped to a belt or worn on a lanyard without restricting movement. Each beltpack includes a high-capacity removable battery providing up to 15 hours of operating time, allowing crews to work through extended production schedules without interruption.
Each beltpack features four fully programmable buttons, allowing users to customise how they communicate with different groups or departments. Multiple channels can be layered on a single button, enabling users to talk to several groups or trigger call alerts quickly when required. In standalone mode, teams can create up to 12 communication groups, while larger systems with the central station can support over 100 groups, making the system ideal for complex productions with multiple departments.
For broadcast environments and larger technical infrastructures, the Solidcom H1 can integrate with existing communication systems using standard 2-wire and 4-wire interfaces, making it easy to combine wireless mobility with existing wired intercom networks. When paired with the Geo Central Station, the system also supports Dante network audio integration, allowing direct routing into modern broadcast audio workflows.
