Busy Year For The Creatives .....

Gareth and Seb go head to head in a Corporate versus Theatre battle of the Sound Designs!

In corporate world, Seb Frost spent a number of Sweet & Sour Chicken fuelled weeks in China doing the Shanghai motorshow with Imagination sound design guru Jon Del'Nero.

Upon returning to the UK Seb immediatly jetted straight out to Milan for the launch of the new Mazda, quickly followed by a whistlestop trip to Disneyland to launch another new car.

In between flying round the world at other peoples expense, Seb also managed to find time to design the Glamour Woman of the Year Awards in the presence of tabloid legends Jodie Marsh and Jordan (aka Katie Price).

Seb also managed to fit in a West End play - Imodesty Blaze & Walters Burlesque! which was heralded as the return of the Burlesque artform to UK theatres. The artform turned out to be swinging nipple tassels galore which was all rather good fun.

In Theatreland, Gareth and his team have been no less busy with a grand total of ten shows already this year.

He started with the National Tour of the Broadway musical Thourouglhy Modern Millie, starring Lesley Joseph, Donna Steele and Grace Kennedy, before popping up to Manchester to assist in the design of the Loveshack UK Tour.

Back in London, Gareth designed the sound for the award-winning West End musical The Big Life, before nipping down to sunny Eastbourne to assist Glen Beckley with the sound effects for the National Tour of Beauty & The Beast.

One of the highlights of this years theatre calender was Scott Schwartz's production of the Jonathon Larson musical Tick Tick... BOOM! which Gareth designed at Londons Chocolate Factory. TTB stars Neil Patrick Haris, far better known as pre-teen child doctor Doogie Howser MD.

Gareth also found time to design Bashment at Stratford East and Headwig & the Angry Inch at Heavan, while somehow managing not to end up in the divorce courts...

Luke Hyde and Drew Mollison have also been busy designing The Magic of Ray Charles, a musical based on the life and times of said artiste.
