Orbital Sound Awarded HME's European Distributor of the Year

As the UK distributor of HME's range of advanced wireless intercom products audio experts Orbital Sound is delighted to announce that it has been awarded HME's European Distributor of the Year.

The DX series and the new ComLink will feature as part of Orbital's showcase at the forthcoming ABTT Theatre Show 14-15th June, Royal Horticultural Halls, London.

Scooping the Award over 11 other distributors in Europe, Orbital has fused its expertise and experience over the past year to deliver the DX wireless intercom series, which comprises the DX 200 and DX 100, to the UK's broadcast, live performance and installed sound markets.

The DX 200 was Awarded The ABTT Theatre Show's Best New Sound and Comms Product in 2005. Boasting a 2.4 Ghz license free operation, its advanced digital design offers crystal-clear interference free two-way communications.

Its potential and ease of use has proved invaluable across a variety of applications. The DX200 has been embraced by organisations as diverse as Rose Bruford College, Rambert Dance Company, Westminster Live Broadcast and St Mary's Primary School in Welwyn and MTV Europe. In addition it has been deployed on a number of touring theatre productions including Footloose and Anything Goes as well as featuring as part of the system's design of Chicago.

Plus the DX 200 is compatible with all 2 and 4 wire ring intercom systems and can be integrated into existing installations with a minimum of fuss.

The recently launched DX 100 Battery Powered Base Station also offers enormous potential to provide seamless communications across a host of application environments and handles the challenges OB work, on location or in the studio admirably.

The DX 100 allows up to 15 people to speak to each other via headsets without any connecting cables. Much more efficient than walkie-talkies, it boasts an expandable system design, which comes complete to offer reliable and cost effective operation across a variety of leisure build projects, conferencing, theatre and live events.
