Orbital Sales have provided a CSC Audio Playback Software solution to the London stage adaptation of the hit movie Dirty Dancing, currently playing in the Aldwych Theatre.
Dirty Dancing sound designer Bobby Aitken chose the CSC Software after extensive evaluation with other solutions and is using the product for the replay of sound effects and music tracks. The system is controlled from the show's main console and outputs to multiple speaker zones including an onstage "gramophone" for realistic "rehearsal scenes".
CSC is gaining rapid adoption within the theatre community due to it's powerful, yet easy to use interface and has recently been deployed on "It's a Fine Life" (Queens Theatre Hornchurch), "The Last 5 Years" (Menier Chocolate Factory), as well as continuing its success on the "Little Britain" UK Tour and is slated to handle the audio playback of a dozen Christmas shows around the country in December.
