HME ComLink All-in-One Digital Comms Headset

WH200 listed in Audio Media's "Gear of the Year 2006"

Audio Media:
"December is a good time to round up some of the highlights of this year in gear, so we've compiled a list of the kit that the Audio Media contributors and editorial peeps judged to be major highlights in terms of originaility, technological progress, audio quality, and usefulness. There were many more worthy contenders than we have space for here, but we had to whittle it done, and whittle we did..."

The HME WH200 ComLink all-in-one digital headset is a 2.4Ghz that, according to HME offers "all the convenience of a traditional beltpac intercom system in a unique form-fitting design".

Compatible with the licence-free DX100 or DX200 base station, the headset means that you can work without the risk of snagging cables getting tangled up.

Orbital Sound's Sound Designer, Sebastian Frost, Audio Media July 2006:
"The really good thing about them is they're crystal clear, they're lightweight, there's no wires, and they're easy to use."

Editor's Comment:
"Anybody who's ever worked backstage will know what a pain comms systems are. I used to have to plug into the wall to listen to the crew. Not only does the HME system provide wireless stage comms, there's no beltpack either - just a headset. It's what Stage Managers dream of!"
