Orbital Raises the Curtain on ABTT 2011

Unveiling the latest products from Orbital's extensive range of distributed brands

Orbital Sound will be highlighting a comprehensive line-up of new products from its extensive portfolio of international brands at ABTT 2011 (Royal Horticultural Hall, London, 15-16 June).

Under the spotlight on Stand No: 105 will be the new two-channel HME DX210 digital intercom system, as well as the innovative HelixNetâ„¢ all-digital intercom platform from Clear-Com, with the brand now exclusively distributed in the UK by Orbital.

From Zaxcom, Orbital will be demonstrating the company's third generation TRX900LT digital wireless transmitter, complete with new user-selectable filters that emulate a more traditional analogue sound if and when required, without losing all the benefits of digital transmission and clarity.

Orbital will also be highlighting the extensive T-Series line arrays from d&b audiotechnik, as an authorised sales and installation partner, together with the new White Range product lines – comprising one of the highest performance and most comprehensive ranges of theatre and installation loudspeaker systems currently available.

Amongst Orbital's other ABTT curtain-raisers will be the flexible and resilient Da-Cappo Micro Microphone range, as well as the next version (v3.5) of the acclaimed CSC Show Control software. Orbital will also be focusing on its associated theatre sound consultancy services, across Noise-at-Work assessments, and theatre sound training.

For Orbital's Chris Headlam, ABTT provides an important opportunity to present the company's expanding sales portfolio, commenting:

"ABTT is our annual chance to major on the newest and most exciting product developments for the highly individual UK theatre market. At this year's show, we have our most comprehensive ever array of leading brands and new products, with the Clear-Com range representing a particularly important addition.

The new HME DX210 is an impressive system – operating in the 2.4GHz band, it builds on the legendary capabilities of the DX200, delivering exceptional sound clarity and now adding full two channel operation, right out of the box.

Zaxcom's TRL900LT is a third-generation fully mature design that is up there with the best in terms of performance, resilience and quality. With its latest tube-mode functionality, it provides users with digital synthesis that provides a more analogue sound in controlled stages – you can quite simply flick a switch to make it sound exactly the way you want, whilst still retaining all the multiple digital advantages, such as improved battery life, RF integrity and sonic clarity.

ABTT continues to make an important contribution to the UK theatre industry, providing us all with a platform for business, networking, and socialising – and the perfect slot in the calendar to showcase new products and services. We look forward to another good show this year."
