Drew Mollison has recently joined London based Orbital Sound. As specialists in the supply and design of sound systems for all Theatre and Musical Productions, Mollison brings a wealth of industry experience to Orbital which underlines their committment to providing Theatreland with an exceptional service.

With 15 years experience of West End Musical Productions, Mollison has worked in different capacities on major shows including Miss Saigon, 42nd Street and Les Miserables from FOH Operator to Production Engineer and Sound Designer, giving him an in-depth understanding of sound in Theatreland.

He has also worked for The Really Useful Group supervising audio production of shows such as Starlight Express and Jesus Christ Superstar working with Desginers, Operators and Production Management.

Mollison will not only work along side Orbital's Tim Sherratt in Technical Support, but will also expand the capacity of the Production Engineering Department, headed by Andy Robinson.

Mollison's role will further improve the level of technical back up Orbital supply to Theatreland and, by liaising with freelance Sound Designers and Operators at the crucial planning stages, Mollison's contibution will ensure for further streamlined production engineering
