The new sound reinforcement system at Ravensbourne School was a critical part of the renovation work undertaken earlier this year on the main auditorium. The listed building was having a facelift and a neat solution was needed to blend with the building sympathetically.

The brief was to provide a system simple enough for every day use and to cover a broad range of uses from Assemblies, drama classes to school bands and discos.

For the first time in the UK, the new d&b audiotechnik 10S loudspeakers were deployed along with accompanying subs and E6 delays. Everything was colour matched, even the cables, to reduce the visual impact against the plastered walls and ceilings of the 300-seat room.
