The realism of the New York streets soundscape drew compliments from both the production company, Mission Media, and members of the public alike. The majority of comments highlighted the quality (and surprising volume) of audio produced from the truly diminutive Flare Audio X0A loudspeaker, which blended perfectly into the installation.
Orbital Sound's conference and events team recently provided the audio solution for an elaborate re-imagining of New York's 5th & 57th intersection, complete with the famous Tiffany's store, at the Old Selfridges Hotel in London.
Commissioned by Tiffanys to celebrate the opening of their new boutique in Selfridges, the immersive installation was created out of stacks and stacks of Tiffany boxes, creating a conceptual space featuring a classic Speakeasy with New York Themed cocktails, a screening room, NYC inspired nibbles, and a resident master engraver offering complimentary hand engravings on any Tiffany treats purchased at Selfridges.
To complement the extensive set build and projection work, we provided the audio solution for the soundscape created by sound designer Lucy Baker–Swinburn.

Other kit involved a Yamaha QL1 mixing console, with Qlab show control software.
