Central London based Orbital Sound is proud to announce that their company brochure "Working With The Sound" took the "Award of Excellence" for corporate or promotional brochure at the 2001 Communicators in Business Awards.

Designed and produced by London based design company, Mot Juste, the brochure took the judges by storm and made a genuine impression.

Established in 1954, the CiB Awards acknowledge and recognise the highest standards and quality in buisness communications. Today the CiB Awards are the largest competition of their kind in Europe attracting a thousand entries on average each year.

The brochure, entered by Mot Juste's Partner, Peter Erftemeijer and judged by a select panel of industry experts on its design, content and communications factor, trully reflects the Orbital organisation.

The panel commented:

"What an absolutley cracking package! On picking this publication up we were immediately struck by the obvious high quality. Regardless of the role you play in theatre, it is obvious that the content has been geared at a number of posts, all of whom have different reasons for using this sort of equipment. The contents were very well handled and we have no doubt gave the reader sufficient information on which to make a decision whether to ask for more information.

Rather than using traditional material for the cover, some form of rubber has been used and the very tactile feel works very well indeed. The spiral bound brochure has been designed very nicely with an excellent use of fonts and font sizes, good colour photography and a layout that is very pleasing to the eye. The whole thing oozes quality".

Peter Erftemeijer further explained:

"I am thrilled to have won this award! It was such fun and rewarding project, with lots of input from the Orbital team. Having worked with Orbital for over six years, it clearly conveys the company's style and re-inforces their inherent design sense and quest for quality".
