Biting Vampires in Moscow, Russia

An entirely brand new KV2 Audio sound system

Long before Stephenie Meyer's famous vampire novels about Bella and Edward, Dance Of The Vampires the musical was entertaining people in their millions and it still is - all around the globe.

Dance of the Vampires (or Tanz der Vampire as the original German language version is named) is a musical remake of a 1967 Roman Polanski film of the same name with music by Jim Steinman and original book and lyrics by Michael Kunze.

Hot from its successful Parisian run, the Orbital team of Production Sound Engineer Dan Bailey, Luca Consonni and Daniel Headlam were tasked with moving the vampire musical into Moscow's MDM theatre.

Incorporating Austrian Thomas Strebel's detailed sound design, an entirely brand new KV2 Audio sound system was specified centred around their new ESR215 full range, large scale system all controlled from a DigiCo SD10T with fully implemented Stealth Core 2 processing and utilising Orbital's Timax2 Soundhub systems for playback and audio processing.
