Stunning open-air venues, a joyous celebration of all things "Friends" and a complete day's entertainment at every level Comedy Central's FriendsFest, presented by The Luna Cinema, is celebrating a triumphant return this year at venues around the UK.

No day out is complete without the essential ingredient of great food and drink, and this year's our has an important new addition thanks to our Food & Beverage ordering and collection system, OrderBoard. From Joey's Pizza and Phoebe's Vegetarian Buffay to Central Perk and The Comedy Central Bar, OrderBoard has it all covered offering a customer-friendly interface across the seven different vendor locations.

For the customers, OrderBoard makes everything quick and efficient. They select, place and pay for their orders via the simple, intuitive app and get instant text message updates of their order status keeping queues to a minimum and maximising sales.

For management, OrderBoard provides the backbone of the whole Food & Beverage system, integrating the customer shops, stock control, payment (including ApplePay), delivery, customer collection, notifications, add-on sales promotions and back-office accounting.

A powerful management toolkit underpins the entire operation. Via a central control panel, management can access multiple co-ordinated sites ideal for touring situations with ever-changing catering suppliers, and the need for detailed advance planning to build and control long lists of retailers.

Setting up the FriendsFest 2021 tour has been a major project for OrderBoard "FriendsFest represents a festival tour on a major scale, and came with its own set of challenges. It is a completely mobile site, with fast turnaround times from venue to venue and operates as a fully open-air series.

We are processing tens of thousands of orders a week with OrderBoard, as well as providing in-depth reporting on retail trends to our client. Priorities are to keep queues to a minimum in compliance with health guidelines, and to increase sales potential in every way. It's been exhilarating to show what OrderBoard can handle!"
