OSCA-R2 2 Way Programmable OSC Button Box

The OSCA-R2 is a next generation multiple command destination show control button box featuring OSC Network input, POE or 5v DC powering two large, high quality illuminated momentary push buttons (non- latching), and three independent OSC triggered LED indicators.

The two momentary push buttons that can be easily programmed to execute a huge range of OSC commands through simple programming of the onboard interface. Multiple OSCA-R2 button units can be deployed on a single OSC network, allowing complex and creative control scenarios to be achieved in a robust and coherent fashion. The button rims can be set to either illuminate on press (great for confirmation), constant illumination (great for in the dark), or OFF, with separate control of brightness.

As world first the OSCA-R2 also sports Red, Amber and Green high quality LED indicators that can be set in the software to react to appropriate OSC commands found on the network. With a little bit of thought and programming the OSCA-R2 becomes a hugely powerful device, triggering commands, receiving status indications from other devices, even acting as an OSC driven traditional Cue-Light outstation if required.

The OSCA-R2 allows control only limited by your imagination of any OSC equipped device, including Qlab, CSC, OSC enabled mixing consoles, d&b’s soundscape, ETC EOS lighting consoles, ONLX Ctrl Suite, Yamaha's DME7 with scores of other manufacturers joining the OSC list.

Whats more is the OSCA-R2 can directly control devices that require a simple contact closure to activate a GPI relay command using a OSCA-O4 4 Channel OSC Relay Output box or OSCA-IO16 Pro as part of the OSC network. Applications range from sending commands for things like opening door locks, triggering Kabuki drops and a vast range of mechanical automation control applications.

With so much power at one's fingertips the OSCA-R2 features configuration backup and restore, so you never have to remember your settings.

The OSCA-R2 is incredibly easy to program - simply plug it into your laptop, type in the IP address and a simple but powerful user interface takes you through all the steps. If the Osca OSC network is connected to the internet, remote programming and triggering is possible via VPN, together with system updates and future upgrades. Fully compatible with all 3rd party OSC commands and the Nemesis OSCA range.

After purchase OSCA-R2 can be upgraded to Pro Spec, adding additional power and functionality for the most demanding show control applications (see below).
