The Orbital Sound Effects Library is the result of ten years' dedication to the collection of sound effects. We have collected more than 33,000 sound effects totalling some 300Gb of data! We have thousands of effects gleaned from all over the world, as well as hundreds of entirely original effects recorded by the Orbital sound design team.
The library is completely digital and can be accessed remotely over the Internet - all you need is an Orbital account login. Files are stored as WAV format, which is directly compatible with most popular audio systems. All sounds are also freely pre-viewable as low resolution MP3s. The system is professionally hosted to guarantee high up-time and fast, efficient download.
Our Sound Effects Library is offered as a complementary service to any of our productions' sound department teams - throughout rehearsals, pre-production and previews, right through until press night (and after, if the need arises).
