Terms and Conditions for Short Course Training Events
1. Introduction
By registering for the course event you agree to the following terms and conditions as issued by Orbital Sound Limited, the Organiser, including course events branded with the name Training Plus.
Please read them carefully before confirming your participation.
2. Registration and Payment
Registration for the course event is confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
All fees must be paid in advance to secure your place in the course event.
3. Content and Delivery
The course event will cover the topics as described in the website course event outline.
Any changes to the course event schedule, content, or format will be communicated to registered participants as soon as possible.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you are unable to attend, please notify us at least 7 days before the course event start date.
Payments are strictly non-refundable, but if you advise us at least 7 days before the course event start date we will undertake to transfer your payment and booking to a future course event of your choosing subject to course event availability.
We reserve the right to cancel the course event due to insufficient participants or unforeseen circumstances. In this case, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another course event .
5. Attendance and Participation
Participants are expected to attend the full course event . Partial attendance may not entitle participants to receive certification or completion acknowledgment.
6. Code of Conduct
Participants in the course event are expected to maintain a professional, respectful, and courteous environment at all times. By attending the course Event, you agree to adhere to the following guidelines:
6.1 Professionalism and Respect
All participants are expected to treat instructors, staff, and fellow attendees with respect and professionalism.
Discriminatory, harassing, or offensive behaviour (including but not limited to racism, sexism, homophobia, and any other form of discrimination) will not be tolerated.
Participants should demonstrate respect for different viewpoints, experiences, and backgrounds throughout the course event.
Any form of verbal or physical abuse will result in immediate removal from the course event without refund.
6.2 Punctuality and Attendance
Participants are expected to arrive on time for all sessions.
If you anticipate being late or need to leave early, please inform the course event organizers in advance.
Consistent tardiness or unexcused absences may affect your ability to receive course event certification or completion acknowledgment.
6.3 Communication and Collaboration
During group activities or discussions, participants should actively engage and listen attentively to others.
Constructive feedback and open dialogue are encouraged; however, it should be delivered respectfully and professionally.
Participants should avoid dominating conversations or monopolizing group time. Everyone's voice is valuable.
6.4 Personal Devices
Mobile phones and other personal electronic devices should be kept on silent or vibrate mode during course event sessions to avoid disruptions.
Recording or photographing course event content or fellow participants without permission is prohibited.
6.5 Confidentiality and Privacy
Any personal or sensitive information shared by participants during the course event should be kept confidential, and participants should respect the privacy of others.
Sharing personal details or information about other participants outside the course event without consent is strictly prohibited.
6.6 Substance Use
The use of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substances is strictly prohibited during the course event.
Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the course event immediately and will not be eligible for a refund.
6.7 Dress Code
Participants should dress in a manner that is appropriate for the nature of the course event and venue.
Clothing should be comfortable, professional, and conducive to a positive learning environment.
6.8 Disruptive Behaviour
Disruptive behaviour, including excessive talking, interrupting others, or distracting from the learning environment, will not be tolerated.
Any participant who is repeatedly disruptive may be asked to leave the course event without refund or further participation.
6.9 Compliance with Instructions
Participants are required to follow any specific instructions given by instructors or course event organizers.
Failure to follow instructions, especially with regard to health and safety procedures, may result in removal from the course event.
6.10 Reporting Issues
If a participant feels that any part of the course event, content, or the behaviour of another participant is inappropriate, they are encouraged to report the issue to the course event organizers.
All complaints will be treated with confidentiality, and appropriate steps will be taken to address the situation.
6.11 Consequences of Violation
Failure to adhere to the Code of Conduct may result in immediate removal from the course Event, and no refund will be issued.
Orbital Sound Limited reserves the right to take further action as necessary, depending on the severity of the violation.
7. Liability
Orbital Sound Limited is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the course event.
Participants are responsible for their own health, safety, and well-being during the course event.
Orbital Sound Limited is not liable for any direct or indirect consequences resulting from the implementation or use of course event content. The content of the course event is provided for educational purposes only, and participants should use their discretion and professional judgment when applying the material in practice.
8. Food Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
If food is provided during the course event /event, participants must inform us of any food allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions at the time of registration.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special dietary needs, but cannot guarantee the complete avoidance of allergens in any food served.
Orbital Sound Limited is not responsible for any adverse reactions related to food allergies or dietary restrictions. Participants attend at their own risk and are encouraged to carry any necessary medication if required.
9. Intellectual Property
All course event materials provided are for personal use only and may not be copied, distributed, or sold without prior written permission from Orbital Sound Limited.
The content and materials of the course event are protected by copyright laws.
12. Photography & Media Release
You grant Orbital Sound Ltd and its representatives, agents, Group Companies and employees the irrevocable and unrestricted right to take, use, and publish photographs, video recordings, and other media of me taken during the training course event, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You and agree that these images may be used in perpetuity for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to:
Social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube)
Website content
Printed promotional materials
Presentations and training materials
Newsletters and email communications
You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein your likeness appears. You also waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the media.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data collected during the registration process will be used solely for the purposes of managing your participation in the course event and will be stored in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy
By registering, you consent to receiving communications related to the course Event, future events & and relevant products and services from Orbital Sound Limited, Training Plus, and our other Group Companies
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales
Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales
13. Amendments
Orbital Sound Limited reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. All changes will be communicated to registered participants of future course events
